About us
Chiranthana is a registered non-profit organisation working in education, rehabilitation and vocational training for children and adults with special needs, based at No.14, 1st Cross, Sunder Nagar, Mathikere, Bengaluru – 560054.
Use of this website
- You agree to use this site lawfully and not to attempt to disrupt it or gain unauthorised access to it.
- Content on this site (text, photographs, logos) belongs to Chiranthana unless stated otherwise, and may not be reproduced commercially without written permission.
- We may update or withdraw content at any time. We aim for accuracy but do not warrant that everything is free of error at all times.
Supporter accounts
- You must give accurate information when registering and keep your password confidential.
- You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use.
- We may suspend an account that is being misused, or that we reasonably believe was created fraudulently.
- Creating an account is optional — you may donate as a guest without registering.
Donations
- Donations are voluntary and are applied to our charitable work. We allocate funds where the need is greatest unless you have agreed a specific purpose with us in writing.
- Payments are processed by Razorpay. By donating you also accept Razorpay's terms.
- Donations are accepted in Indian Rupees (INR).
- Donations are eligible for tax exemption under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961. A receipt is issued by email; the 80G certificate is issued on request.
- We accept foreign contributions only in accordance with applicable Indian law, including FCRA where relevant.
- Please do not donate using a payment method that is not your own.
Recurring (monthly) giving
Where you choose a monthly donation, it continues until you cancel. You may cancel at any time by writing to info@chiranthana.in, and we will stop future collections.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Chiranthana is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction.
